Suggested Procedure
Pre-viewing Stage:
The teacher has students speak about foreign or local festivals they already know. In a whole-class discussion, the students can talk about anything related to those celebrations, i.e., date, area, and traditions (food, clothes, and activities).
While viewing Stage:
The students watch for the first time to do exercise 1.
Later on, they watch again to do exercises 2 and 3.
Post-viewing Stage:
Speaking activity: The students prepare and give talks in front of their classmates about their favourite festivals. For brainstorming and notetaking, they can use the following table:
