This is an adapted listening lesson from Speakout Elementary Students' Coursebook.

Level: Elementary/Pre-intermediate
Skill: Listening
Timing: 35 minutes or less
Suggested Procedure:
Pre-listening stage: The students review some vocabulary and functions related to health. They can do the vocabulary tasks 1A and B in the worksheet. To prepare them for listen, they answer questions in 2A and B.
While-listening stage: The students do tasks C and D. For correction, the students can compare their answers.
Post-listening stage: The students can speak/write about home remedies/treatment for both cold and flu.
